Will you be affected by the "bedroom tax"?

In April 2013 the government will be introducing what has become known as the "Bedroom Tax" for working age tenants of social housing.

Essentially this means that your housing benefit will be reduced by 14% and 25% for every one and two bedrooms that you are under occupying in your home.

This will have serious financial consequences for those affected as they will be due to pay the shortfall in their rent.
